Vestibular Therapy

VESTIBULAR THERAPY

Vestibular Therapy is a highly specialized and integrated vestibular and neurological rehabilitation designed to improve symptoms related to vestibular (inner ear/balance), autonomic, and eye tracking disorders. Dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, unsteadiness, blurred vision, neck pain, brain fog, headache and fatigue are the symptoms we treat with this type of therapy. Specific testing is done to understand the root cause of the problem, which allows us to customize the neurological training, and achieve the fastest, most complete results.  Conditions such as concussion, post-concussion syndrome, whiplash, long covid, Lyme’s disease, neurotoxin exposure, dysautonomia, migraine, and inner ear problems are all potential causes of vestibular dysfunction that respond well to vestibular rehabilitation.

Our program is led by Julie Knoll, PT NCS, a national leading expert in the field of neurological and vestibular Physical Therapy.

EVALUATION

We begin with a thorough, whole-body movement screening process designed to identify the root causes of your pain or injury. Our experts use a system known as the Select Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and injury risk screening.
